Anywhere genital contact is involved, a person is not practicing abstinence and puts him or herself at risk. This includes vaginal sex, oral, anal or mutual masturbation. It’s all sex.

More than 65 million people in the U.S. have an incurable disease.

Teens are especially susceptible to STDs because their bodies are still developing.

One out of four sexually active teens will contract an STD. Half of them are incurable.

The Center for Disease Control says condoms can’t fully protect you from even a single STD. There are 25 major ones.

50 to 80 percent of people infected with STD’s do not know it because they have no signs or symptoms.
